My activity online has been very low for the past month because several exciting things have happened. First and foremost, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. This is a huge relief to me, but the fun has only begun as I focus on planning to enter law school next year. I had planned to relocate to Georgia in January, but ended up going to work for Universal Music Publishing in Miami Beach, which is where I am now temporarily. Those who are close to me know that I have been planning to make Georgia my home for many years now, and that will finally be the case when I enter into law school this coming fall. I wanted to move there in January so I could begin establishing my residency ASAP, but when I had such a great work opportunity to gain more experience down here, it was almost impossible to say no.

Law school is daunting, yes, and I have been told it can be unbelievably tough, but I don’t have much concern for myself. I am the type of student that dedicates themselves to their studies because learning and reading is the hobby I enjoy the most. When you are a geek, certain things in life just seem less difficult, while other things are more so. I am certainly a recluse, and that’s something I need to work on desperately. Even my online personification is reclusive - I’ll go several months without socializing on the net, and it drives people mad. The reflection of such can be seen in my sporadic website updates. I am a true stay at home and read and book type person. I don’t find anything wrong with that, and I do dare say that I am a rarity of my generation. Also, I never had a large base of friends in South Florida. In Central Florida I went out and enjoyed myself with people far more often. Down here, I just don’t enjoy the vibe, so it is harder to get me out. I do, however, have a large sum of friends in Georgia whom I get on with very well and I look forward to having them in my life once again when I relocate.

In case you are wondering, I’m not dead. I’m just busy. And a bit depressed. But mostly busy.
